Non Initiated Other
Simply put, an Other who has yet to step into the Gloom. Since some Others are born to Other parents, it is accepted that they will most likely become Others themselves. They are considered non initiated until they are able to enter and percieve the Gloom, an event which typically occurs between the ages of 8 and 18. Other non-initiated Others may be entirely unaware that they are Others. It is possible for an Other to remain ignorant of the existence of the Others and the Gloom, at which point they would also be known as a non-initiated Other.
